PCM FA Flash Video Format, questions

I like the video on the PCM FA units, but noticed it is now in the flash player format.

The disadvantage of flash player is that you cannot save a copy of this type of video as we could with the old Quick Time or Windows Media Videos.

I did like the PCM FA units and they did not appear any different than they would have if shot in Quicktime or WMV. Is it because the camera can only see so much? Would it be better to shoot it with a camcorder in a DVD type format or other improvements to boost the quality of the imagery?

Finally, is there a way to pull these Flash Videos off the server to view offline without having to connect to the net?

Yes there is. Use Firefox and install the Video Download add-on. Then while the video is playing, click on the down load icon which will be in the lower right corner of Firefox. You will also need to download the FLV player to run the video.
