Well, after waiting a year, my PRR I1sa finally arrived. This is one beautifully-detailed locomotive. But I can’t run it! I’m up to my armpits in spackle dust from my newly constructed train room and I removed all train-related items until the room is completed.
Oh well, I guess I can hold on for another few days…er weeks…er months until I finish the room. Maybe I need to hire a finishing crew…I wonder if they’d work for beer.
Good to hear it looks good. Mine is on the UPS truck for delivery today. This locomotive is a long time coming but it is a welcome model for sure.

I seriously considered buying one, but I can’t get past the traction tire. From all I have read it isn’t an option. It just comes with the rubber wheel. So, until I hear otherwise, for me there are only two choices in the I1 market: brass or nothing. At this point you can guess which side is winning.
Included is a non-traction driver set to replace the rubberized set, so now you have no excuse.[:)]
