I’m looking at buying a steam loco with lok sound from precision craft models and i would like some feedback about them in regards to quality andinfo on lok sound.Thanks
I have the Reading T-1, I had to make a few minor adjustments on it to get it to run as smooth as it should, but no big deal. The Loksound decoders sound very good, and their motor drive is about the best there is. Mine will run all day long at speed step one, taking about half an hour to circle my 8x12 layout. They also included both the freight whistle and a passenger whistle. I reprogrammed mine so F2 operated the frieght whistle (it comes set so F2 is the passenger whistle, F4 operates the freight whistle. Since my unit is an in-service model, I wanted the freight whistle as primary.). Search a bit, I think I posted exactly what I did to fix it here right after I got it (around Christmas time).
