Hey, does anybody miss the little “nubs” sticking up on the ends of the throw rods on peco code 83 turnouts. The code 100 turnouts have these nubs, and while they have no prototypical equivalent, I find they work very nice for manually thrown turnouts. With the code 83 turnouts, you have to actually switch them using the rails themselves.
(Of course, I could put ground throws on all of the turnouts, but I’ve always liked the simple, intuitive nature of the peco 100s.)
