does Peco sell ties for this? I cut a tie off the end of a piece of flex track; and it went flying away; and fell into a trash can; so needless to say it’s lost.
I don’t think you can buy ties. So just buy a spare length of flexitrack and use it solely for replacing ties
I’ve never seen replacement crossties offered for Peco track, but sooner or later you’re going to be cutting a piece of flex track, and can then use the crossties from the piece that you cut off. No layout has ever been built using flex track that has not had to be cut.

You’l soon have plenty of spares when you start curving it to make curves!
Peco turnouts, in N scale at least, come with a couple of extra ties at each end, molded to the tie portion of the track. The ties are made with cutouts so they can theoretically be placed under rail joiners. Someone recently asked about these extra bits of tie material, not understanding they were made to be cut off and not knowing how to make their work “in place”.
Why would you want to cut them off? The rail joiners slide right into the grooves between the base of the rail and the top of the ties and you don’t have to go back and fill in the gap with spare ties. Isn’t this what they were designed for or am I missing something here?
