Peco Products made in China or not?

We were discussing this on another site. I went to their website and it did not say or least I could not find anything to that effect.

Last time I purchased their Streamline Code 83 #6 turnouts, the package stated that they were made in England, and that there was a patent pending. This was the spring of 2006.

I have a Peco switch I bought about 3 weeks ago. The box says it was made in England.

The most recent Peco turnouts I purchased say, on the bottoms of the ties, “Beer.” My reaction was to think “you know, that’s a darn good idea. Some beer.” But no, it isn’t subliminal advertising, it is the town they are located in.
