Does any one know of a site where i can download drawings to use as full size templates for Peco turnouts ? Thanks
I was told that you buy them and photocopy them. That can get expensive if you are going with a zillion different ones, but if you are going with say, all #6’s it can be fairly easy.
I plan on getting 4-- 2 left and 2 right. Then I will photocopy each separately then make a crossover both directions.
N scale is available at http://www.sodigi.com/Peco_Track.htm and there is a note to watch for HO scale in the future.
Cool. Thanks.
Thanks Space I only need one to check and see if a curved left turnout would work better than the current medium left i’m using now
Thanks Dallas I bookmarked the site and will return there
Ok I figured out a way to make my own I already had a curved right hand turn out so I laid a piece of paper on it and rubbed the rails with a pencil and then cut it out and turned it up side down It was close enough to tell me I should keep the medium left in place and not bother buying a curved left
I did the same as spacemouse… I bought a #8 left and right and a #6 left and right and photocopied them. What I have done is to design the layout using 3/4" to one foot. I am now building the framework and I’m using the photocopies to assure the framework doesn’t interfere with switch motors. It also assures the design works before fixing down track.
Hope this helps.
I have all (that I know of) HO Scale Peco Code 100 components. I purchased 1 of each, scanned them, and made drawings in AutoCad. I can forward these in Cad, PDF or picture formats if anyone wants them. I also just purchased Code 83 stuff, so I will have these in a week or so.
That’s a nice offer I solved my problem for now but maybe others will be intrested Thanks
