Pelle Soeberg's SD40-2 detailing

I really liked Pelle’s detailing so I ordered some ditch lights from Details West DL-228 like Pelle used. the problem is they aren’t what Pelle used, the ones I got mount on top of the pilot not in front.

Pelle used 229, ( mayby my package label is wrong ) can I modify them or just order the correct ones?

I have the 228 ones EMD style, but they don’t look like them.
I guess the pic they have here is wrong?

Pelle, does some exellent work. I wish I could aprrentice under him and learn his techniques. I saw his old Tehepachi Pass layout to and I never fail to be impressed by his work.

Well I emailed Pelle and he put straight, he’s used part of the Details West product and some styrene to make them fit. So I shall modify the lights and glue 'em to the front.
