Does any one have a Paint formula for the light olive used on pre war pennsy passanger & express trucks & under car componentes
No but if the color used by Walthers on the R50b and B60b cars is right it is ugly! There is a paint comittee in the PRRT&HS trying to establish all colors used by the PRR. You might want to join one of the PRR Yahoo groups and ask that question where the really knowledgable experts reside.
During Prototype Rails Bruce Smith (presented the PRR passenger car seminar) said that there are no actual color photos of the olive color. He believes that the color was actually more grey than olive in reality (but called olive). He recommended repainting them in a more greyish color or grimey color.
