Curse you John! Now I have to find some bowser kits…
On a side note, I did notice something that is plaguing the Tsunami lineup of decoders: momentary loss of power. When this happens, you get some strange results. With the steam Tsunami, the chuff all of a sudden go out of sinc. With the Diesel, the unit will double it’s speed.
That being said, I feel as though QSI might take more of the market with their Steam package (due to be released with the Rev-U). They also have a few more whistle sounds (as well as user-changable ones…again due in the future). They also have a chuff lead with their Rev-U.
Great modeling John, I always enjoy your videos.

Great loco, great layout, great video! Send it to Bowser for their web site. ![]()
I actually dropped into subconscious railfan mode when watching the train pass the crossing. I realized this when it passed and I was surprised that the autos didn’t start driving. It was only for a moment, of course, but it really brought home the startling sense of realism you’ve achieved in this video. Well done.
Absolutely magnificent, Jon! The only things missing from when I was a kid are the cinders in my eyes and that smell/taste of sulphur at the base of my nostrils in my mouth…
My favourite engine, great job, also that layout isn’t too shabby either, just a super job, looks like the real thing, nice work.
