I believe it was the Pennsy’s Crossroads of Commerce calendar – one of Grif Teller’s best.
If no one wants it, I’ll take it! My mother was born in 1950.
It would be interesting to see what the calender looked like. Did it have a picture of a PRR train? If so, which one?
They should give it to Steamtown who should auction it off and refund that amount of money to the federal treasury as a small step in deficit reduction, hopefully setting an example for other federal entities.
Truley “Snail Mail”
Give it to Scranton native Vice President Joe Biden. He’s still living in 1950.

What a treasure that is! Bad news that the postal service lost it, but GREAT NEWS that the postal service delivered it!
“Delivered without explanation.” The PO can lost something like that for decades, find it, and sent it on its way without a comment? Why do people use the Trains Newwire comments section as a political forum; aren’t there other forums they can use?
I believe in Free Speech, but why does Trains allow this nonsense to continue on its Newwire?
It kind of ruins it for people who are only interested in the Train aspect of the news items.
I am in agreement with writer that decried usage of this forum to make political statements or worse. There must be a place better suited for this type of activity.
Better way late than never! Fun stuff.
