Here are some progress pics of my new PC & KC RR-an On30 logging and quarry themed line. The fictional RR is based on industries that actually exist within 5 miles from my home. This railroad replaces my earlier HO layout which was destroyed (along with my house!) in a fire in 2009. The new room is a custom designed one and dedicated solely to the model railroad. Operation is by MRC DCC. Gooping (basic ground cover) has been completed over the last few weeks. Rock castings will be placed next. Meanwhile, out of sight in the pics, a turntable complex is being installed. The railroad is progressing nicely.
