PFE Referigerator Cars

Does anyone know the service life of PFE R70-6 and R70-12 mechanical referigerator cars? I can find that the cars entered service in 1958 & 1960 but when were they removed from service?

The cars are the prototype for Athearn kits 1627 & 1636. Thanks for the help.

R-70-6s numbered 300126-300137 had 55 of their number last through 1975.

R-70-12s had 966 still in the fleet in 1970 but were gone by 1975 or earlier.
