I couldn’t stand it any longer. I wired up a DC powerpack to the layout and ran an engine over all the accessable track for the first time! I’ll try to get an updated photo of the layout tomorrow. In the meantime, two bright shiny-new decoders showed up from Loys Toys today for my pair of Life-Like switchers, so I may be a bit distracted from track-laying for a day or so…
