John hasn’t posted a PF thread since early February and his “regular” posting has been somewhat sporadic, as well. He may be pretty swamped with responsibilities with work…family…or both.

The selection of scale article was before my time on the forums. I have a small HO layout left over from when I lived in a very small house and quite a bit of rolling stock but my main focus has been O 3 rail for quite awhile now. I do plan on a bigger HO layout later. People who change scales especally if they have considerable equipment in their scale always amazes me. Over many years I have accumulated way too much O to try to sell, especally since you only get 1/3 of what I paid on most items. O costs too much although HO seems to be catching up especally with decoders and sound. O takes to much room to store, a lot of my stuff is in boxes, thats terrable. O takes to much room, my layout is fair size but passing sidings can only take real short trains. Three rail can go around tight curves and thats a advantage as far as layout room but two or three tracks side by side tales a lot of room plus its just big. Buildings in O really take a lot of room. O is less fussy.
