I took a little trip to Jasper this weekend, and uploaded the best photo. Please click the thumbnail to have a look!

Wow! Thats an outstanding photo. Very well done, thanks for sharing.

Mathew, like so many of your outstanding photo’s, this one now has a home as the background on my computer. Even my wife and kids have been very much in awe of your photo’s. Keep up the good work and please keep sharing.

Splendiferous! [Y]

Absolutely magnificent![bow][bow][bow]

Now, how are you going to incorporate that look (especially the trees) into your layout’s scenery?[:-^]

Chuck (Modeling Central Japan in September, 1964 - lots of cedars, no snow)

Thanks to everyone for the compliments!

Well, if you must know…I’m modeling late April. A fresh spring snowstorm has coated the trees from a 2000’ elevation up. Flowers spring in the valleys. The peaks glisten with fresh white. The rail line itself has its lowest elevation at 1400’, and its highest at 4000’. The transition up the mainline will be not unlike Mike Danneman’s - Snowy peaks looming over spring scenes as well as ploughed rails.

Happy? I am!

Great photo.

That one’s definitely a keeper, Matt. Nice capture. Congratulations.
