Photo, Main line CTC

This is the main line CTC for the A&N:

The dispatcher will use this to control the mains only. Local control of all other tunouts are controlled as you walk along with the trains. The dispatcher has the CCTV to watch the layout and Rail-ops to make up the trains and schedule.

Wanted to include as much as possible but that would take two or three screens, Not a good idea.

An comments, pro or con?

Looks great way ahead of me. Dave

Wow, that’s like artwork. Nice job. Is the clock real-time / fast-time?

Your choice.

This is Panel Pro from JMRI a FREE program. Works as good as it looks. The learning curve is not to bad there are clinics you can download free.

Looking good! Eventually that is the route I would like to go, I have an old PC that would be perfect for use with CTC. My LHS has this as well and I saw a demo of it a few weeks ago, I was hooked. I especially like that the software is free. I just need to figure out the interface to the DCC system.

Thanks for sharing.

Which DCC are you using? I use Digitrax with Loconet-USB and it took longer to type this than to get it running.

I have CCTV and this panel so I ran a train from the computer using the throttle in Panel Pro and the CCTV and CTC. Worked perfect! Now our dispatcher can run a through freight or passenger from the dispatchers panel so they do not get bored.

Glad I went DCC!
