Posting photos here at the forum has allowed many of us to be made aware of news events quickly.
But, Photobucket.com, which many posters here use, has made it very, very difficult to use their service, in what I consider an absolutely insane step backwards. Does anyone know of other internet photo services that can be tapped for easy use so the forum can continue to “see” matters and news quickly?
LION runs his own server, does not know of Photobucket et al.
All Microsoft operating systems since XP have servers built into them, but not installed by default, but those are dangerous to operate if you do not know what you are doing.
But this of course does not answer your question. Try other free ones until you find one that works for you, or better yet join a paid service (artists and photographers subscribe to these), but they WILL give you service when you ask them a question. You get what you pay for, and if it is free, then you are the product and not the customer.
KP - while you are waiting for more answers: 3rd picture - can you, in very short words, explain to me what this (big yellow thingie) is, how it got there, how it works and how it gets back down? Are those concrete ties? [*-)]
I use flickr.com. Very easy to use. Upload your photos to your photostream (which you create when you sign up), then choose the photo for sharing, copy the code, paste the code on the Trains site, done.
