Photo posting please give your way of doing it on new forum

Okay a few of us even myself need help posting pics on this new forum I can do it using Photobucket by going to photobucket

1 select pic I want

2 click the word share above the pic

3 click on the words get link codes

4 copying the code under the heading HTML for websites & blogs

5 click on the emblem to the left of the smiley that looks like a window when new window opens insert what you copied from line 4

6 your pic should show up

7 repeat as needed and post

Now I can’t even get a pic old or new way from shutterfly would like help there if you can

If anybody uses any other hosting place please also add your instructions here

I may add it may seem a little to simple directions but did it as some times we all miss something so ask you all to please follow same format when listing directions

now Bob did say we still can do it the old way which I haven’t tried yet .

I still post photos pretty much the same way as before using photobucket.

i cant load pictures like before on this new site anyone figure it out

I post images in the new forum the same way I posted them in the old forum.

Upload them to Photobucket.

Open the album in Photobucket.

Put the cursor over the image, 4 boxes open automatically under the image.

Select and copy the code in the bottombox (IMG Code)

Paste it in the message block in the forum.

Copy and paste from Shutterfly.

I use Shutterfly. With the last software version it was just a matter of copying the photos properties and pasting into the the “photo posting” drop down window when the tree looking icon was clicked.

Apparently the “new icon”, whether it be in a forum thread posting or the new “photo gallery” feature requires the use of a photo sharing feature on the site that you use to host your files. I have not set up, nor do I plan to, a “share” site.

This does not mean I won’t be contributing to the site, I will just be doing it the way it was done prior to the last software that was used.

Open Shutterfly, select photo from thumbnail to be posted, open to full size, right click on photo to open a dropdown window, left click on “properties”, hi-lite and copy properties.

To post:

Open thread, click on “reply”, use bracket img close bracket, paste your photo’s URL, bracket/imgclose bracket.

For example, using parenthesis not brackets to not cause an error:

(img)URL-URL-URL(/img)
