Apparently everything I had on Photobucket is lost. I get directed to the “Beta Site” no matter what I do, and then nothing. No photos, no help, no nothing. Talk about stupid decision making by a company. How can anyone ever have any confidence in this web site again. Why would they redirect anyone logging on to a version that does not work. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Photobucket is not alone in this regard, jumping prematurely into a beta site, although the consequences to the user are more troublesome, especially if photos are lost.
The weather.com web site did something similar, launching a beta site and then switching to it prematurely and permanently. Now, it is a mess to navigate through.
Too many web sites are trying to do things to act like they are cool, supposedly to be more like Facebook and Twitter and the like.

I use fire fox and haven’t had a real problem except for maneuvering around. It did take a while to find everything in all my sub folders and at first I thought I was in some hacked site.
I hate the new Photo Bucket.
Using Chrome, I selected “Take me back to the classic site” , which it did. Chrome worked fine on the beta site, but I simply do not like the cartoon-like atmosphere. Like many sites I visit…(hint)

I am, also, having trouble with Photobucket. You click on a photo and you used to then click on the little square. Then when you clicked on the IMG link option, the word “Copied” would appear momentarily. You,then went back to the Thread where you wished to Post your photo and clicked on Paste and the photo code would appear below any text that you wished to Post. You scrolled down to Post and clicked on it, and your text and photo would appear at the end of the Thread. Now if you click on the desired photo, the photo appears reduced in size on a black background. What has Photobucket done ? Bob Hahn

When I login all that I get is a welcome back greeting, no pictures. The options to open an account with facebook and twiter appear to be working but I don’t want them.
It looks like I may need to find another hosting service.

What I do on mine is hover the mouse pointer over the photo thumbnail on the album page. A box with four options appears. I click on the fourth option (IMG) and ‘copied’ appears. I go to my post or document, right click, click paste and the IMG line appears.
I just went to the Photo Bucket site and signed in. All my albums are there and uploaded a photo with no problem.
There are two options on the page. Log in and Sign Up. The Sign Up stands out because you are not signed in yet so they assume you are new.

I logged in and got the “new” version, too. With over 4,000 photos lumped together in a “library”, it was a disaster to navigate, and unpleasant to view, too.
I contacted them to complain, but by the time they got back to me (quite promptly, considering the amount of complaints they must’ve received), I had discovered the “switch back to the original” option. I’m using Firefox.
While photobucket occasionally experiences a few glitches, I find little to complain about on such a useful site, especially since it’s free.

I just logged in again. Clicked on My Albums and no problem. I ignore anything else in the page. Sign In and My Albums are what I focus on. PB is wanting all your attention. Ignore them. I do not bother with Facebook or Twitter either.
Yes, I was taken to the Beta,Photobucket but no problem logging in and seeing my albums.
I always clear all history, cookies and any other online data.
Been using PB for a few years and change just occurs. In this day and age, change is a constant.

For some reason it seem to be different strokes for different folks.
When I bring up the home page most of the links won’t work.
To log in I have to click on upload pictures and then I’m asked for my ID and password.
After logging in that’s all she wrote.

Are you using the original Photobucket? As far as I can see the Beta version doesn’t have the ‘My Albums’ tab. I see ‘Home’, ‘Library’, ‘Connect’, ‘Browse’, ‘Edit’, ‘Upload’. Below that it say ‘Welcome Back “Your account name”’. A stack of photos below that then ‘May we suggest you’ then it gives a selection of ‘Create an album’, ‘Edit your photos’, ‘Share with friends’. Nowhere do I see a tab for ‘Albums’ or ‘My Albums’. The only time I see ‘Albums’ or ‘My Albums’ is when I switch back to the original view.
As I said a few messages ago. I use the original PB URL I have used for a few years. I get sent to the Beta site.
FIRST, type in name and password.
Second, Click, Sign In.
Third, Click on Albums. I see all my albums.
I ignore all the junk that they are trowing at me. PB wants your attention on all the other junk.
I have used this procedure for some years.
By the way, I always log out when I am done and I always clear all History, Cookies and any other online stuff from the browser. This has kept me out of any trouble for many years.

I suspect many are not aware of this, your page may be different than what I see if History and Cookies have not been cleared.
The page I showed before is what I am seeing now. They sometimes throw in another advertising banner. The Sign In block always shows. They assume I have never been there before.

I went to Photobucket this morning and logged-in. It appears that all of my images are still there (I don’t have nearly as many uploads as some of you).
