Photographing CP in Vancouver

I am interested in photographing CP trains for a photography book I am working on regarding Canadian Pacific Railway. Where are some of the best locations to photograph CP trains between Vancouver and Agassiz? There are two bridges I am interested in photographing CP trains on: the Harrison Mills bridge near Kilby Provincial Park and a bridge that is near the end of Hawkins Pickle Rd. Since I will be photographing in the morning when the light is in the east and hopefully catching the mountains in the background, do these locations afford me the photo opportunities I seek?

How about around White Rock? Do CP (and CN) use the tracks through White Rock on a regular basis?

White Rock is BNSF only.

White Rock may be BNSF trackage, but more often than not it’s CN power on it…there’s usually one freight each way and two Cascades on it. Freight’s SB in morning and NB in afternoon/evening, if I recall correctly.

Don’t know a thing about the rest of the area, I’m more at home in the mountains.
