Before you guys jump on me for asking the same question “which type of track/switches/flextrack is better”, or tell me which size (code 100, code 83, code 70) is better, let me state that I am joining a modular club which requires code 100 track for at least the mainlines. I believe that ME makes the best looking track, Atlas isn’t the greatest appearance wise, and Peco looks a bit British. That is fine, as my layout module will be portraying a British country station.
However, I would like to see a photo of each type of track (code 100 only, please) because my local hobby shop doesn’t carry anything but Atlas and even then he is sometimes out of stock. Online pictures are either zoomed out too much, or fuzzy, and I cannot tell the difference. I plan on using Peco points even though they will mostly be for how, and will shim the track at the adjoining ends to match whatever the club standard is.
Can someone please post a photo or photos comparing the three most popular brands of Code 100 flextrack (or even sectional track) so that I can see them?
Thanks!
