Photos Wanted for CTT

News for All Photographers

For more than 5 years, Classic Toy Trains has featured the very best of our readers’ photos of their toy trains in our very popular Photo Album department. Our invitation to all of you to take print or digital images of your layout or diorama remains as strong as ever. We are absolutely thrilled to see what you are doing at home or at a toy train club.

We respond to what you send within 24 hours, except when we receive digital images after work on Friday (then we need until Monday). We also offer suggestions when your pictures need a little work. Our goal is to showcase your best work while introducing more than 50,000 readers to the great O, S, and Standard gauge toy train layouts (small and large) that are being built and operated now.

So grab your camera and let’s see what you can do. You may discover your layout featured in our pages and soon be hearing compliments from your fellow hobbyists. Plus you’ll earn $50 for having your picture published.

Send your best pictures of toy train subjects to CTT Photo Album, 21027 Crossroads Circle, Waukesha, WI 53187-1612. Be sure to include your name, address, and daytime telephone number; a description of each image, including the gauge and make of the train; and the name of the photographer or layout owner if he or she is someone other than you.

Color photographs should be original transparencies or good-quality 5 x 7 prints. Digital photos must be taken with a 3.2-megapixel or higher camera set at the largest-possible file size.

Digital photos can be submitted on a disk or CD, or they can be emailed to photoalbum@ClassicToyTrains.com.

If you send us a photo and it is published, we will pay you $50 as long as we have not previously bought the photo.
