Very nice Ian. I have seen pics of this part of your layout and I know that this took a lot of figurin and plannin. But, how about a few more pics of different areas?

Thanks

Beautiful, Ian!

How about a tour of your layout?

Ian
The area came out nicely, I still think your in deep poop if it derails inside that wall space but you obviously have that accounted for, otherwise how did you lay the track?[8D]

Gentlemen

Thank you, for your kind comments, I will get some photos off to Troy regarding sreas 2 and 1. Vic i have had a stoppage and a derailment not many but a few. The answer is of course my DR Mallet. It works a bit like the old idea of rabbiting with Ferrets, in reverse. Just send it in nice and slow and it will push anything out the other end.

PS have you guys heard i have bought a new LGB blue Glacier express Crocodile in Germany and I will pick it up in a few weeks.

Ian, I just noticed something in your pics. Pink blooms? And I thought it was your winter?[:)]

Hi Ian,
I sincerely hope the ‘blue croc’ will be gracing the trackwork of the CC&TC RR in August, it’ll look strange mixed in with all the American metal but I won’t charge you running rights! My coach consist still has hook & loops on a couple of cars at one end so we’ll be able to give it a decent train to pull. You certainly have created a ‘busy looking’ area of railroad in that small place, bring more pics with you when you come over pls.
Cheers,
Kim

Hi ghelman
It is and the flowers the dog hasn’t picked or trampled in my garden
look wonderfull[:D]
QLD where iandor is annoys me any plant I can get to grow in my garden
will be five times the size in half the time it takes mine to grow and flower[:(]
As long as he doesn’t decide to grow Triffids where safe[:D]
Not much in the way of flowers around in our summer to [censored] Hot.
Iandor I still think you need to think about that diverging track it looks strange without some sort of bridge sides.
as others have said what does the rest of the line look like.
regards John

John I am interested; I know something is not quite right and Brian put an interesting point which I agree with to do with the backgrownd and situation. i know it is busy Kim but I had no choice.

John mate I would be obliged if you would expand on your thoughts or anyone else for that matter.

Critiscism and comments invited please gentlemen and Rene.

Kim I forgot, yes I will try and bring it with me i am also going to buy another two locos but I have problems with carrying them and also going through getting a refund on VAT.

If anyone knows anything about VAT refunds when leaving the European Union i woud be obliged. Trouble is i will be buying them in Deutschland (Germany)and leaving from Frankenland (France) and will be in Pommyland (UK) in between and i am not sure how it all goes but have bneen told it isn’t easy.

Rgds ian

The flowers are called impatiens and they have been in about three weeks when that photo was taken and it is winter here.

I have much to thank Troy for he has been a big help to me. However guys i got to tell you what he has done behind the scenes . He has tried to pass himself off as one of his own children, not easy and it didn’t work.

See you soon mate

Rgds ian.

?

Ian,
I have seen a lot of suppliers in the UK advertise that for overseas customers they don’t charge VAT, I suspect this means only if they are sending it overseas. Anyway I’ll make some enquieries but if you have ordered them from home the supplier knows they are not for their home market, I’l see what I can find out.
Cheers,
Kim
