How do I insert a photo into a post.

Whale, it is simple.
First you take a photograph
Second you move it from your camera to your computer
THIRD: YOU COPY IT FROM YOUR COMPUTER to a third party server such as Photobucket, et.al.
Fourth, you paw around their site until you find something to the effect of “Link to Your Photo”

Copy that link

come to the forum and click on the “Insert Image” icon just above.

paste they link from step 5 here. Click OK

Kalmbach does not “host” photos on this server so you must put them on a public server. That is the secret, unless, of course, you are a LION, in which case you likely run your own servers. Actually every edition of windows since XP has had the capacity to act as a Web Server, but if I have to tell you that, then you clearly do not know what you are doing and could cause a lot of trouble for yourself and your computer by opening it to the public like that.
When you see a pic from the LION you have to pass through three firewalls to get to it, even then, since it is accessible, I suppose it can be hacked. (you also need a static IP number, and it would be best to also have your own URL but what the heck, that is what we have IT guys for.
