This first was a shot in Greeley, Colorado at the end of July when 3985 was headed from Cheyenne to Denver.
The second shot was a train of autoracks that were headed north out of Boulder in July.

…Enjoyed all the above posts of photos…especially the closeup of 3985. I’m just a bit overwhelmed that we still have an engine of that size in running condition this far away from the steam era. Liked the bridge pic’s in the east as well, being a Pennsylvania native. Good thread. Caboose shots great too.
