While on vacation in TN and on my way home i spot a derailment scene of Q539 from the day before. Shown is work train dumping ballast on newly laid panel track. Best shot of the scene was rejected by RP for forground clutter. No surprises there. Guess i should have taken that picture before the work train showed up!

can’t you just post it here?
but the oddest wreck I saw was several Amtrak expess cars derailed and up against a hill.
