I caught this beautiful engine rolling west through Kinsman. Lucky for me, it stopped! We were going down the road and we noticed that it started to power up. We got ahead of it and made it to a bridge in Ransom. We made it there just in time. Here’s my photo of it.

LOOKS great, only wish I could see one in the flesh so to speak…I live very close to the BNSF triple track raceway in metro Chicago and railfan right at the main line and have not yet seen one…I AM STILL WAITING, BUT NOT PATIENTLY

Great picture! Is Kinsman on the former Santa Fe LA-Chicago mainline? I think I am one of the few people who actually like the new BNSF paint scheme.
That is a great picture nick with the locomotive coming toward you with the angle of the sun hitting it . The best picture I have seen before that was when I took the first Christmas that CPR ran from Toronto Ontario up North to the crew change at Mactier there were thousands of pictures sent to me of the train at night with all 500 bulbs illuminated.Keep up the great photo shoots.

It’s that logo. Makes one thing that Nike bought BN. We could go back to an historic initial == NP. In this case, however, it would not mean Northern Pacific. It would mean Nike Pacific.
