Very cool, Chad. Thanks for sharing these photos.

Why does looking at photos of trains in the desert make me thirsty? Tonight, I shall lift one in your honor.[:)]

Pop Z

Thanks. I will too.

Great shots as usual, Chad. Thanks for sharing!

So–who’s that who fell on the floor instead of watching the trains go by?

It looks like Cajon is busier than it was when I was there (about 18 years ago). I’m giving serious thoughts to returning sometime next year; we’ll see how that works out.

Fortunately, Paradise East (or Midwest–sorry, SisKitty) is only a few miles from here.

If you do be sure and let me know so we can meet up Carl.[;)]

And yes, it is busier then ever up there.

Great shots!! It is nice to see a couple of unpatched SP units. It also appears in one of the pics that somebody made an attempt to clean the dirt away from the Stars and Bars on one of the UP units. Definately a plus.

I’ve got some of mine uploaded, starting from the bottom two of the first page (disregard the labeling of the ones above them).

Finished uploading the rest of them tonight. I don’t think there’s a single shot in my bunch that has the same train from one of Chad’s shots.[:O]

Two unpatched SP units together, I can’t remember the last time was I saw this. I do remember the last time I saw three together, June 2, 2002. It is hard to believe it has been that long. Unfortunately, UP has renumbered all of the ex-DRGW SD50s.

That is my desktop background right now!

Well, that’s one more trip on my "MUST SEE BEFORE I DIE" list.

Thanks for the inspiration,C.T.[wow]

By the way, do you submit anything to railroadpictures.net?
