Looking sweet bigdogie, but perilously close to the edge…no margin for error. Yikes! Hope your trains and the floor don’t meet. Been there, and it wasn’t pretty. [:O] Thanks for the photos.

That’s surely useing every inch of the wood !!

I agree! always leave at least a couple inches of track clearance and/or some sort of railing to prevent the loco from plunging to the concrete floor with possible dire consequences.Looks like a good layout thus far.

I like watching progress shots. Personally, I liked the straight siding tracks (will lead more easily onto further addition), because it would look more like a BIDS yard. (small Bulk Intermodal Distribution, where trucks pull up to take delivery from railcars.)

(Helpfull hint - it would be easier to watch your progress if you placed everything on one thread.)
