San Francisco had an industrial belt line that used to run along the Fisherman’s Wharf area–it is gone now, except for a little track down by the marina end. The San Francisco historic trolleys run over that right-of-way, though.
The “State Belt Railroad” there was a feature article with a trackplan in the April 1980 Model Railroader.
