Not much railroad equipment shown, but 1973 USGS Map (Teraserver) shows extensive rail system serving various structures pictured on this Web site.

San Francisco had an industrial belt line that used to run along the Fisherman’s Wharf area–it is gone now, except for a little track down by the marina end. The San Francisco historic trolleys run over that right-of-way, though.
The “State Belt Railroad” there was a feature article with a trackplan in the April 1980 Model Railroader.
