My son is into pigs. His Thomas and friend trains all haul pigs. His military train has pigs on them. But these pigs are not in gauge. Has anyone seen a large quantity pack of pigs in HO scale ??? Seen some woodland scenic pigs, but they are $9 for 6 pigs. How bout some unpainted pigs anywhere??
I just saw a great photo of an HO 50’ hicube pig pullman by model power for $3.00
OOPS ! ! ! it was in a copy of MR October 1982, but the photo is great, never saw one of these before. They sure must have smelled nice.

has mature pigs listed at 8 for $ 5.75, but unfortunately doesn’t have a picture of them.

Javern, thanks for the links, didn’t know how to do a search online. The 6 pink at the top look great, but the 12 woodland are nice. My LHS has 6 for the same price as online 12 cost.
Bob, thanks for the link, glad in wasn’t a link sausage. [:)]
Underworld I have to find it and download it and print it. He will think that is great also.
This is exactly why we need a forum for trading. Pigs are usually availible in sets, but not necessarily by themsleves. I need beasts of burden, cattle and lots of horses. If such a thing was set up, I could trade with Tom. Or I could ask the group if anyone had any extra Hogwarts passenger cars. Or I could trade the N scale saw mill I got in a lot with an N scaler that got HO structures.
Tim,most good railroad modelling stores always have a stock of creatures for the fields.I always check out the model farming sections of toystores.Hope this helps.
