Although this set is well designed, the price seems like quite a bit of money for very little “play value”, such as was included in the typical LGB starter set of a few years ago. Hopefully with LGB distribution by Marklin slated to start next year, we will again see more excellent caliber starter sets.

A 1st class entry set for newcomers to G scale.

Luv it …but when are Large SCALE MANUFACTURERS going to offer battery power , radio-control sets right off the shelf?

Cost can’t be that prohibitive as we see toy sets already have the necessities for running on battery are are easily adaptable for outdoors.

Excellent lesson for beginners. Many beginners will look at the clips and have no real idea what to do with them. Reading the instructions is the last thing most of do.
