Pilbara Rail orders 10 new GT44C's from GDRMB

Today Pilbara Rail announced that it will be awarding QLD locomotive and rolling stock builder GDRMB Heavy Industries a 10yr contract to supply and maintain 10 new GT44C locomotives. GDRMB’s DC traction system has proven reliable for over 50yrs and so the GT44C has been the locomotive of choice for PR.
