Pinstripes return: Norfolk Southern releases Pennsylvania Railroad heritage unit

Wow, now that one looks classy!

Awesome!

An absolute classic, the color and the striping are beautiful. I sure do hope to see them all together some where, some time.

The NS unit is beautiful but I have a Don Wood photo taken in 1955 on a calendar from a few years back that has the
pinstripes on the Shark and the units number inside a keystone one the front.

TRAINS - could you edit my comment to add “and no circle around the keystone.”
Thanks

Nice. I might want to make / get a model of that one.

Now I feel old

God Bless you NS!

I love it! As an old PRR fan. I think this a sight for sore eyes. I will be visiting the old Middle Division in June, and will be looking for this heritage unit. Thanks NS.

I would have preferred Brunswick Green, but there we are. It is more like the UP’s efforts to honor it’s merger partners.

add 12 more wheels and it would look almost like a modern centipede. i like this one the most.

Sweet can’t wait to see this unit in service!! Great job NS!

Love that paint job on that loco. Any chance I might see it pulling a southbound freight to Baltimore on the Old Port Road some evening?
