My O scale layout is very Plasticville heavy. I prefer the original pieces from the 50s and 60s, but I have the new dairy barn and out buildings too.
I’d love to see photos of other layouts that use a lot of Plasticville structures.

I love plasticville. I too like the originals from the '50’s and '60’s and the style keeps the “toy like” or what a '50’s or '60’s layout would look like.
BTW, where did you find your airstream camper?
I don’t know if you have any old Classic Toy Trains magazines from the 90’s, but there was an article on a guy who collected old Plasticville. The story refers to him as “Mayor of Plasticville”. It was a nice layout. There are fantastic photos to look at.

Big Walnut, yep I have that article. An amazing collection displayed on the “Mayors” layout. Also kept the one that had an article about the history of Plasticville.

That is a great looking layout indeed.
I think what makes it so appealing is not just the collection of Plasticville but Your presentation of it in the “kitchy” 50’s style with perfect streets and all of the details. It’s a vintage catalog cover “come to life.”

Those are all great looking layouts I have some plasticville but don’t have room to set anything up at present but your all layouts are GREAT
I was thinking the same thing.
I’m not a fan of plasticville but that was tastefully done and I’m impressed. Nice and clean and the buildings are well laid out. The details just make it stand out. The fences, hedges, trees, vehicles. Even the road looks real and you even have a inground pool.
