Please give me a bleeping break!

From last evenings TRAINS newswire:

Councilwoman: Memorialize subway station for Michael Jackson

To that I say simply “GIVE ME A BLEEPING BREAK!”

I think they should name the Kostner Ave. (if I remember the correct station, it is a curved platform) station on the Blue Line. It is out near Oak Park. That would be the best station to use as a memorial!

[:P]

Is that the most important thing she has to do ? [%-)] Must be . . . [:-^]

Well, Jim; All I can add to that is WELL STATED[tup][tup]!

Another Pol who is looking to be immorialized in Bronze in a public place…

Known for another’s works, and their lack of same. It seems we live in a time where we are surrounded by the best politicians money can buy[tdn][#oops][2c]

I am not endorsing the idea, but the station chosen is one that was used in one or more of his videos and album covers.

Put the bleepin memorial in the councilwoman’s front yard.

Next stop, MJ memorial station…[sigh]

I demand equal time for JOHN WILKES BOOTH!!!

Or, more recently, how about John Lennon?

There is nothing so simple and straightforward that a pol can’t foul it up.

Chuck (From the city where Jackson died)

Andrew?

Realistically speaking, the people who give two hoots or one of a few other things about where John Lennon lived or where Michael Jackson performed already know about these locations. Does the Dakota already have a plaque? I don’t think so. And if they put a plaque in this station, who’d see it? Not the people riding through, who wouldn’t care anyway. What would renaming the station do, except make it more crowded?

SJ, for that one I oughta tickle you with a feathery sprig of old hickory!

“Moonwalking” away from this one.

And the next station named for Weird Al. I get more entertained by some of his songs.
