Please, no war at the forum!

I want to apologize if someone think my post about Tony’s has been annoying. When I told you about my problem I did it because I think it’s important for other people to know when things like this happens. I could not in my wildest dream imagine that this post would become a monster that never dies. Let the post die now. So we all can go back to what we all love to do, railroading. I have never in my life met so many nice people as on this forum. And I have been on the net for as long as I can remember. I wish you all a great day.

/Electrolove, also known as Peter.

btw peter, you swedish sure have one AWESOME looking passenger train!

and yes, i really hope we can all come down to peace[:)]

That’s cool - is that train achieving what we in the US achieve with “superelevation”?

Is that train “leaning into the curve”.

Cool!

What model is that? That would nice in service on my layout.

Yes it’s leaning in the curves so it can take them faster. The nice thing is that the train can go very fast on old track that is not elevated. It’s called X-2000. And many people feel ‘seasick’ when riding the train, me included. Kind of a bonus [xx(]

It seems that Amtrak is using this as well. I didn’t know that.

The X-2000 is so cool. I read an article about it. The tilt mechanism manages to elimate 70% or so of the feeling that you are going through a curve. They can tweek it to elimate up to 90%, but that would make almost everyone sick, seeing the horizon line change through the window, but not feeling the train tilt or go through the curve. That is kind of funny, maybe they should adapt it to a carnival ride?[:p]

Electrolove,

You have nothing to apologize about!

You posted an informative thread and were looking for answers. Don’t let it bug you!
