I’m certain there must be tons of stuff on good painting practice and soltuions to problems. I would really appreciate being pointed to the best you have found… maybe it can be a bit like the "compilation of useful threads, thread for painting?

Maybe I’d better explain… I’m looking at repainting GP30s in EMD demonstrator liveries into CNW… so I need “stripping” information, masking and good techniques. I’ve weathered models and painted AFVs by hand but never tried a whole loco (in H0) before.

I suppose that now you’ll tell me that THAT side is THIS side and that THIS side is THAT side?

No, I don’t but I have a undecorated GP-35 sitting around. I’ll be watching. (Now if you asked about structures…)
