Your discussion pointed me to Boscov, ordered a set this past weekend and it arrived today. $84.95 delivered to my door. A sweet little set it is. The detail is striking. It smokes adequately. Runs fine. It is the only non-Lionel post war that I’ve ever had. It should be nice, reliable, and not require any tinkering. Thanks for the lead!
I think I’m going to get one of these too - the Speeder set for $40 is also a decent deal.
