podcast for large scale railways?

Being an electronics numpy, to the point where my daughter has to set up the computer to enable me to plug in my ipod to update & download podcasts. So this query is beyond my capabilities to “do it myself”.

Some time ago,after listening to Kevin Strong talking about live steam on the Model Railway Show, with Jim Martin & Trevor Marshall, I wonder if there is there a podcast site for Garden Railways.

It would seem that various manufactures talk about products, reviews of publications and many “how toos” are discussed as well as phone interviews to owners of layouts on the Model Railway Show. Perhaps the same arrangment could be duplicated for Large Scale.

Surely with readers of different publications from across the world, we would have enough information for someone to start a podcast. Or is there some already in existence?

I just thought to put the idea out, so people can begin to figure it out.

You are the first person to inquire about a GR podcast. No, we don’t offer podcasts–only a few Kalmbach titles do AFAIK.

I did a search in the iTunes library and found TrainTalk.tv, which seems similar to Tracks Ahead in what it covers train wise. Thanks for the reminder of the Model Railway Show, which puts out a new episode about once per month. There is Model Railroad Hobbyist, which has been podcasting since 2007. Woodland Scenics also has how-to podcasts, though sadly they haven’t added any since March 2011.

Can anyone add to this list?

TrainTalk.tv is okay, but doesn’t really cover large scale. I also listen to The Model Railway Show, and The Rail Channel. While those two are very good, neither cover our scale on a regular basis.
