Polar Express upgrade to Railsounds 4.0

After several comments were made on another post concerning upgrading the horn on a Williams NW-2 diesel it got me thinking about upgrading the Polar Express tender I got the grandkids for Christmas. I’ve been considering buying the Lionel 6-36847 Polar Express Trainsounds Tender. However, would it be possible to upgrade the original Polar Express tender with Railsounds 4.0? And would it be possible to run it both in conventional mode and TMCC. I already have the controls for TMCC. And what would it cost to do so compared to buying the trainsounds Polar Express tender.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
