I need to know how to get this thing apart so I can replace a bad truck assembly. don’t want to break it. thanks for any help.

First for someone to help you are you talking engine or one of the passenger car? I don’t personally know but you are very vaig (mis spelled) with your response there.

The car roof’s are removable by squeezing two sets of windows. The secific windows are shown in the owners manual. If you’ve lost the manual, you can download a new copy from the Lionel web site.

I need to know which 2 windows to push to get roof to release from a polar express passenger car. the rest of train packed and under layout so was hoping to find information on that here. thanks for any help.

I appreciate all your respnses to this and did get it off finally using a screw driver to aid in getting the roof to release.

now my not so nice question what oxy moron came up with this way to unassemble a toy?

the poster that said to smash it apart was close to the truth very bad design 2 screws at bottom would have been the brilliant way. any way thanks now at least I can replace the truck or do I have to push on a secret floor release to do that! ha ha thanks oh so much your always here when a fellow needs help.
