ooh there’s that American thing again. I don’t think you realise just how international this forum is. there is a big wide world out there…

Having said that I’m modelling San Francisco. LMAO

Ok Boys time to take theat beach head

The Canucks are coming![:D] Anyone want a beer? Rootbeer for Junior of course!!

Northern Calif. Sierra Nevada

i am aware that this forum is international, as i live in Australia [8D] but i am just curious to see who models what part of the US as thats all im interested in ( no offence to anyone who models somewhere outside of the US) and maybe later on we can do another poll on where in the world you model? any way…

Generic with low hills. About 97% of my locos are from Western roads, though.

I have to compress a little. The Sublime to Redikulus starts in the north woods of Minnesota, passes through the Mississippi valley by Winona, turns west through southern Minnesota, turns south through the Arizona desert and ends in the Arizona mountains.

Northeastern Wi, Northwestern Michigan Upper Penninsula(My home state!)

I like to think mine will be upper midwest. Wisconsin area for sure.

Any where ILLINOIS CENTRAL had tracks.

ICMR

Happy Railroading.[swg][swg]

My layout theme is in the southern Appalachian Mountains, the scenery could be many places that have mountains, trees, streams.

REX

Mid central south carolina where NS/CSX run together

Central Tennessee.

Thats a very good question…where the heck do I model ? I quess it’s in the mountains of the south {or the mole hills of the south, which ever you prefer} .

It depends on what people are calling MidWest. When was in high school I lived in Wichita Kansas. At that time I considered myself living in the MidWest. Then I graduated from college I got a job offer in St. Louis and I told them I didn’t want to move “Back East”. I finally realized that Wichita is almost to Dodge City which is about as West as one can get. Now I consider only things east of the Missippi river to be the midwest.

Myself I’m not sure where it is?? I suppose it’s the south Ala. and Tenn. I like the green rolling hills and limestone rock and flat lands that we don’t have much of. Good question and poll!!

South west Ohio. Where I grew up more than where I live now.

I’m glad you included the “for arguments sake!!!” How’s it going James???

I model CN “somewhere in Canada”. Wherever it is, though, I don’t think it’s geographically accurate. It’s sort of mountainous prairie woodlands![:)]
