Glenfield and Western - Gee Whiz
Weatherford, Mineral Wells, & Northwestern (WMWN), line acquired by Texas & Pacific. “Whiskey, More Whiskey & No Water.” City of Mineral Wells, TX acquired the line from the UP and operated it as the Mineral Wells & Eastern for a short time (GP30 for power), but it has been abandoned and turned into a trail.
SP’s Tillamook Branch - now the POTB - was orginally the Pacific Railroad and Navigation Company. It still lives up to the name it quickly acquired even into 2004 — “Punk, Rotten and Nasty”
