poor service from railtownwindows.com

I purchased and paid for 2 n-scale building interiors from railtownwindows.com, a total of 12 interiors. They sent me HO-scale instead. I sent several e-mails to their customer service dept. in an attempt to correct the error. All attempts to contact them were ignored [there is no phone listing for Jared Mfg.] I then filed a claim through PayPal in the hope that they would respond to PayPal’s contact but they too were ignored. So, I am stuck with 12 interiors that I have no use for and I am out the purchase price plus shipping. They are obviously not a reputable seller and customer satisfaction is certainly not on their agenda. So, If anyone is contemplating dealing with them remember, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. BUYER BEWARE

Always pay with a credit card. If the threat of a chargeback doesn’t get results then at least you can get your money back. I had a similar situation with another vendor who took several months to fix his mistake. The promise of involving “outside experts” got results in a week.

What is paypal doing for you? Don’t they allegedly have some kind of guarantee up to a certain amount?

Are those things printed flats that are installed right behind the building window?

I looked at the site and although the perspective looks okay when viewed head on, it seems wonky when viewed from an angle.
