In the November issue of MR, I think I may have found a typo in the article on N-scale track. There is a picture of a turnout that is identified as Atlas code 80. However, I think the picture may be a turnout from their code 55 line (the tie spacing looks too close for code 80). However, since the picture could be a code 80 “custom-line” turnout (which I’m not familiar with – and would be surprised they used it as this is not a typical example of Atlas code 80 product), I’m not sure. Anyone else notice?
Just confirmed by Atlas, this was a picture of a code 55 turnout.
Considering this was a “Guide” article, this was just plain sloppy folks! [:(!]
