I’m presently restoring a Post War Lionel Alco UP 2023 and need to strip a couple layers of old paint off the plastic shells. The shells are in excellent shape and I don’t want to damage their integrity if at all possible. However, I’m a bit impatient and would rather not have to painstakenly remove the layers of old paint by scraping and sanding, etc. Does anyone know of an effective stripping agent that I can use?
