Posting Images on a Thread

As Bergie suggested, you should ask other modelers how to Post images from other Hosts.

Let’s consider Photobucket. After you have established a Free account with Photobucket, you choose the name for the Album in which you store your model railroad photos. As you upload each picture to this album, you should give it a Title. Below the picture are four site options. Click on the bottom, IMG and momentarily the word “COPIED” will appear in a yellow box. Return to the “Trains.com” Forum in which you Click on either “Write a New Post”, or on “Reply” to an existing Post. You type in your Text message, and then click on the ctrl and V keys. The lengthy code name for your image will appear. Add Tags,(if you so desire), or Click on Post. After a few seconds, your text and adjusted sized image will appear at the end of the other Posts on this Thread. That’s all there is to it. If you must Edit your text, Click on Edit. When you finish editing, be sure to Click on Post (just once) As you backspace, you may see your Edit, but the edited text and picture will reappear at the end position . Bob Hahn

PS. To enlarge the image, you Click on the ! in the upper left yellow triangle, (instead of on the Image) To reduce the image, you Click on the X at the right of "View Larger Image X "
