Photobucket’s format of the way to post photos seems to have changed. Below the photo that were the words Share/Edit/Delete/Move. When you click on Share, you must then click on Get Link Code. Then you must click on IMG Bulletin Boards & Forums. Then,(down the options listed),you see a checked box followed by Clickable Thumbnail Photo My chosen phot then appeared automatically following my text. What’s up ?

Funny,i just right clicked on img code bar came here clicked on paste no problem! no extra steps!
And I clicked on Photobucket’s “Direct Link” and pasted it into the “Insert Media” pop-up. If you don’t look closely in Photobucket, it is hard to see the flashing word “copied” that appears when you click on the link and it is automatically copied to your computer clipboard.!(http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o85/Breeze61/Plymouth Barracudas/Barracuda2.jpg)
That is basically it…
I just go to my photobucket account…and get the direct link and copy the IMG code onto the insert media …and voila…
There is no need to use the insert media icon. Just let your cursor hover over the image in photobucket. There is no need to click anything. Four boxes will open beneath the picture. The bottom box is labeled IMG code. Click on the label and the image code will be copied to your clipboard.
In the box where you are typing this text, place the cursor where you want the image and paste the code there. You do not need to use the “insert media” icon. Just paste the IMG code where you want the image to appear.
It will not show the image until you actually press the “Post” button.

Yeah true that…

except it can get a little large…especially in preview…
It works like it always has for me, here is a size comparison of two standard gauge and one narrow gauge locomotives.

A while back they changed the look a bit but the functionality is basically the same.

Just trying it out.

True, unless you want to control the size of the image, as shown above. Though I think it is possible to use code to do that as well.
Edited to add: Apparently that doesn’t really work. Doh! [:$]
